What age can children start at Ready2Grow?

Children can begin their Ready2Grow journey as early as 2.5 years old. Our nurturing STEAM+L™ program is specially designed to support little learners as they grow, explore, and develop the skills they need to thrive, setting them up for a confident and joyful educational experience from the very start.

Is potty training required?

Yes. Children must be fully potty trained or actively working toward it. If your child is still in transition, we’ll work closely with your family to support their progress. To maintain a safe and hygienic environment for all, we may recommend a gradual start based on each child's needs and readiness.

Do you offer full-day programs?

Yes! Our full-day STEAM+L™ preschool program runs from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexible 2, 3, or 5-day options to fit your family’s schedule.

Each day blends hands-on learning, creativity, and play, giving children the perfect balance of structure and discovery to support their growth and development. Parents may pick up their child anytime within program hours, making it easy to accommodate your family’s schedule.

What does a typical day look like?

A day at Ready2Grow is carefully designed to balance structured learning, creative exploration, and joyful play, all within a nurturing, full-day routine.

Arrival and Exploration Time: Children ease into the morning by exploring the room, engaging with materials, and choosing activities they enjoy while settling in at their own pace.
Sharing Circle: Children gather to talk about the calendar, weather, and daily themes. They also have opportunities to share ideas, experiences, or special moments with the group, building confidence and communication skills.
Literacy, Phonics, and Writing: Children enjoy a dedicated time for literacy each day, including hands-on activities, worksheets, songs, storytelling, and interactive phonics games that make learning fun and engaging.
Outdoor Play and Nature Exploration: Daily outdoor time includes playground fun, open field games, nature walks, and simple explorations at Hidden Valley Park. Every once in a while, we take walking field trips to explore different areas of the park, including playground days filled with slides and other fun activities.
Meals and Snack Breaks: Children have two snack breaks and a lunch break each day to provide consistent nutrition and time to refuel. Our snack times are thoughtfully scheduled at developmentally appropriate intervals to support healthy routines, self-regulation, and a sense of structure. However, we understand that each child’s needs can vary. If a child is still hungry outside of scheduled times, we will always ensure they have something to eat. We never withhold food, and we work in partnership with families to make sure every child’s nutritional needs are met while maintaining a supportive and consistent daily rhythm.
Rest and Quiet Activities: Napping children enjoy a calm, comfortable environment to sleep and recharge. Children who do not nap engage in quiet, enriching activities allowing them to rest, reflect, and transition smoothly to the next part of the day.
Movement Time: We keep bodies active with lively music-and-motion activities where children follow along to playful songs, dance, and enjoy simple fitness routines.
Imaginative and Dramatic Play: Children engage in creative play using toys, props, and materials to invent stories, take on roles, and explore scenarios together. This play builds imagination, social skills, and confidence while encouraging cooperative and independent play.
STEAM Block: Children dive into hands-on projects that spark curiosity and creativity, exploring science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Through building, experimenting, problem-solving, and creating, they develop critical thinking and imaginative skills while having fun.
Storytime and Free Play: Children enjoy books, group stories, and quiet reading moments that build language, listening, and comprehension skills. They also have time for open-ended play, encouraging imagination, creativity, and social interaction.

What is STEAM+L™?

STEAM+L™ is our unique approach that blends Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, Literacy and Languages into hands-on, play-based learning. Children explore real tools, experiments, projects, and stories that spark curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity, helping them build a strong foundation for school and beyond.

Are your teachers qualified?

Yes! Our educators are licensed early childhood professionals with training in child development, classroom management, and our STEAM+L™ approach. All staff members undergo background criminal record checks, and most are trained in First Aid and emergency response. Beyond their qualifications, our team is passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment where every child can thrive.

Do you provide food or snacks?

We do not provide regular meals or snacks at Ready2Grow Preschool Academy. Parents are kindly asked to pack all meals and snacks from home, keeping in mind that we are a nut-free environment and food sharing is not permitted. This helps us support each child’s unique dietary needs and ensures a safe, inclusive setting for everyone.

We encourage healthy, balanced options to keep children energized and focused throughout their day. We are able to warm food as needed so children can enjoy their meals comfortably.

While families provide daily food, we do keep extra snacks at the preschool in case a child runs out or needs a little more. We never withhold food and always ensure children have something to eat if they are hungry.

If your child has any allergies or special dietary requirements, please let us know so we can provide the appropriate support.

How do you manage food allergies?

We take allergies seriously and do our best to create a safe, allergy-aware environment for all children. Our staff are trained in first aid and know how to respond in case of an emergency. If your child has any allergies, please let us know during registration and provide any necessary medications (like an EpiPen) along with the required consent forms. We’re here to work with you and ensure your child feels safe, supported, and cared for every day.

Can my child attend if they are learning English?

Yes, absolutely! We welcome children from all language backgrounds. Our classroom is a supportive, language-rich environment where children feel comfortable, included, and encouraged to express themselves. We use visuals, songs, stories, and hands-on activities to help children build their English skills naturally through play and daily routines.

Yes! Ready2Grow Preschool Academy offers a year-round program to support your child’s continuous growth and learning. Our consistent schedule helps children build strong routines and skills all year long, with breaks for holidays and special seasonal events. We’re here to nurture your child’s curiosity and confidence every step of the way!

How do you communicate with families?

We keep families connected and informed through multiple channels. Daily updates and important announcements are shared via the Lillio app, where you can see activities, photos, and classroom news. We also hold parent-teacher conferences and provide report cards to share progress, milestones, and insights about your child’s growth. This combination ensures parents stay engaged and informed every step of the way.
